“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Our Church’s Mission As disciples of Jesus Christ led by the Holy Spirit, we experience God’s unconditional love and witness to others by discovering and sharing our gifts. Our Church’s Vision: As members of the First Presbyterian Church of Blairstown, NJ, we seek to be a caring community. The foundation of this church is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Our church seeks to be a center for Christian values, spiritual growth, social awareness, human service and fellowship; ministering to and with all people in our congregation.

The Church is especially proud of our musical program. The adult chancel choir, under the direction of Al Gunther, provides outstanding musical presentations. Do you enjoy singing? We welcome new voices to enrich our ministry of music.

SHAWLS
Knitting Group:
For individuals who enjoy knitting, who may want to learn how to knit, or who want to improve their knitting skills, two knitting groups are available to achieve those goals. The Wednesday afternoon group meets from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. The Thursday evening group meets from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Both groups knit prayer shawls for individuals who are ill or in need of comfort as well as various projects.

Presbyterian Women meet several times throughout the year mainly at special Saturday breakfasts.  They assist with various activities, dinners, fund raisers, etc.  The group provides scholarships for our children to attend Camp Johnsonburg and has adopted a child to encourage and assist financially.

Clean Up Day -  If you enjoy yard work, we hold a spring and fall clean up day.
